About
Sèna Gay-Vigan — Sèna Gay-Vigan, autrice et philosophe du quotidien
Who Sèna is
Sèna Gay-Vigan writes from the kitchen. French-African, mother of five, she learned philosophy where it is actually practised: between two pans, at the hour when everyone is hungry and no one has any strength left. Her first book, “Le bonheur, mon meilleur ami”, was published in 2025 by Austin Macauley Publishers. She was already after the same thing: a way of thinking that stays upright through an ordinary day.
Why this publishing house exists
Because the books about mealtimes were books about recipes. Rarely about what happens around the table. The tiredness, the repetition, the bond that loosens when nobody has time to sit down any more. Sèna Sublime grew out of that gap. An independent house, no outside copywriters, no trend to follow. Every ebook is written, illustrated and edited by the same hand.
What the ebooks hold
No method. No seven-day programme. Short illustrated texts, read in the evening and picked up again the next day. Each book begins with one concrete gesture — simmering, kneading, wiping the table — and follows it back to what it says about you. They arrive as a PDF, straight away, and they are yours to keep.
